Luxembourg man

So, here I am in Luxembourg. I`m at a point in my trip now where things are starting to pile up and you just need to push through it. I have a few knicks, cuts and blisters that are wearing on me. I left my pocketknife in Paris and I`m just kind of soar from walking amd moving all the time, but that`s all part of the game. Soon I`ll just be used to it and it won`t be no thang. otherwise though I`ve been doing a lot. I moved on from Bruges to Liege, Belgium. Liege is the biggest city in Wallomia which is the French speaking part of Belgium and i happen to know two people there that are technically my second cousins through marriage. their names are julie and Laura and I just crashed at Julie`s place. They were really nice and showed me around a lot. We would call each other family some and Julie kept fooling me with her fucking sarcasm. they were calling me Doogy. Julie´s roommates all spoke little or no french so it posed an intersting but cool challenge communicating with them.
I liked Liege a lot. It was kind of like the Eugene of Belgium actually. I had lots of frites and other Belgian specialties. There was one point where Julie bumped into me on the street while I was sitting with a chocolate waffle and chocolate all over my face. hanging with them was really cool and made me think about random family connections and just the importance of family in general. I`m used to being around a bunch of my cousins because I`m the oldest of 10 but I don´t really have any that are my age so it was interesting to get a brief view of what that`s like. it sparked more of a desire to look into my own family heritage some. I don`t know much about it but what I do know I find very interesting.
No Luxembourg though. It is absolutly beautiful here. Incredible nature and architecture as well. It`s very quiet and peaceful. I`ve mostly just been relaxing, walking and taking in the views here. Last night though I met this guy in the hostel and we just talked about traveling, women and life for an hour and a half. Then we got a couple of drinks, talked about that for another hour and a half and realized that we hadn`t even exchanged names yet. then these Irish women in their 30`s started taking pictures of David and me so we took that as an opportunity to make a move. Within 5 minutes we were promptly shut down. It was good times though and we laughed about it on the walk back. Tomorrow I`m off to Heidelberg, germany and then to oktoberfest which should be crazy.

Peace out ya`ll

Well first off I've only met one other Julie out here. Second that's my family Julie, how could you make me disregard my family.

Pat dude, that girl did cross my mind as a matter of fact, but seeing as I don't know her name and assume that she's still living in Portugal I decided to pass.

Dude did you use the sugar line on the Irish teases? Probably not since you guys got shot down.

You should learn some French...the ladies go crazy over it! Although I bet the French wouldn't accept the Belgium style French because they are snotty like that! And I heard those chocolate waffles are AMAZING...did you eat any in Amsterdam?

John, no you are right. If I had used that I obviously would have been writing about how I hooked up with them. Also, I did tell some girls on the Irish bus tour that line I have where I say what my name is spelled backwards and not only did they think it was hilarious but they said if I had used that on them they would actually be interested in talking to me at a bar.

Whittiker, yeah my french isn't too good. i know some phrases but either way it doesn't matter if it sounds Belgian or not it sounds American and that's no good. but don't worry when I was in Belgium and france I tried my bestest with French. the waffles are fantastic. I did not have any in Amsterdam but Belgium ones rock. i did have frites in Amsterdam and Belgium and man those things are good with mayo. Kebab's are also the way to go in Europe.
